Hello, everyone!
This past weekend, some friends and I visited Holy Hill. Holy Hill is a Basilica which is a special title from the pope. It was very important to the Catholic faith. The Basilica sits atop a hill with an expansive, surrounding forest. The tower has a climb of 178 steps before you reach it’s astonishing view. Don’t fret, there are resting points along the way. Make sure you check the weather before you go. Each day creates weather conditions making every photo one of a kind. This day, we were lucky the sky was clear and the sun was shining when we made it to the top. We were able to see the Milwaukee skyline from the tower. Aside from the Basilica and tower, there are also 14 pray stations. These pray stations go along a path through the beautiful forest. The walk is scenic and unique. A must see! After visiting Holy Hill we went to Joe Mama’s Bar & Grill in Colgate, WI. The food was delicious; I’d recommend the cheese curds for a starter dish! It also had a nice atmosphere to hang out with friends. It is a local family restaurant!
